Armi Millare just released a new solo single, 'Two Worlds'

Armi Millare on Friday released her second solo single, "Two Worlds." Streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and other similar platforms, "Two Worlds" is co-written and produced by Kim Ofstad and Magnus Martinsen, both of the Norwegian band D'Sound, with whom the Up Dharma Down vocalist has already collaborated in the past.

"I wrote 'Two Worlds' after realising only we have the power to validate our own dreams. No one else can do this for us. The right people will come to help make it real, just focus on what's good about your desires," read a portion of Armi's Instagram post.

Two Worlds is 3:32 long. I hope this gives you a moment of respite from everything. We’ve had a rough few weeks. I wrote Two Worlds after realizing only we have the power to validate our own dreams. No one else can do this for us. The right people will come to help make it real just focus on what’s good about your desires. This time is a special time. It is a time to build ourselves up. Look within and the answers will (literally) come. A chance to count our blessings and revisit our lessons. It’s okay to pay tribute to the world we once knew, we have a new one to look forward to and a chance to build it. Let’s thank ourselves for having made it this far. Thank you @themagnify @kimofstad I am most grateful for this work, for finding ways for us to get here. My best to our team, @daworksrecords. And to everyone who counted down with me tonight I appreciate you all. Friends, family, listeners. I hope you see what’s in my heart ???? . . . . . @ingrooves_europe @spotifyasia @ingrooves_asia @ingrooves_nordic

Presumably talking about COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown the virus has forced the world, Armi adds, "This time is a special time. It is a time to build ourselves up. Look within and the answers will (literally) come. A chance to count our blessings and revisit our lessons. It’s okay to pay tribute to the world we once knew, we have a new one to look forward to and a chance to build it. Let’s thank ourselves for having made it this far."

In the press statement, Armi revealed the song "was created on my last trip to Oslo in November 2019." She was there to finish another project but ended up writing the song with Magnus, who is D'Sound's producer and Kim, D'Sound's drummer.

"Two Worlds urged me further into investigating what else I could musically do, as a collaborator, as a producer and putting my creative vision in other platforms, down to the visuals," she continued.

Yes, down to the visuals: Armi, along with Paolo Garcia and Isa Añiga, directed the official lyric video of the song, which has also been released on YouTube.

The song is actually the first single off Armi's new solo project and comes as a followup to "Kapit" which reached Top 15 on Spotify Global Viral 50 Chart. — LA, GMA News
