Rurouni Kenshin drops teaser for final chapter live-action films

The live-action adaptation of popular manga and anime Rurouni Kenshin has dropped a new teaser for the final chapter of the film series.

The two films slated to be released this year, "The Final" and "The Beginning," will tell the origin story of Kenshin Himura's x-mark on the cheek.

A new character, Enishi Yukishiro, will be on the film as the main villain. He is played by Japanese-American actor Mackenyu, who also appeared in Pacific Rim: Uprising.

Takeru Sato reprises his role as the wandering swordsman and former manslayer, while Emi Takei also returns as Kaoru Kamiya.

The film's stars visited the Philippines in 2014, much to the delight of "Samurai X" fans.
