CCP to hold Christmas Eve Mass with Philippine Madrigal Singers
Are you up for a Christmas Mass accompanied by world renowned singers and special live performances?
Perhaps you'd like to attend the Cultural Center of the Philippines' (CCP) annual Misa de Aguinaldo (Christmas Eve Mass) this Tuesday evening.
The 8 p.m. Mass is to be presided by Fr. Mario Sobrejuanite, SSP, and the choir will be none other than the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers!
They'll be joined by a 100-voice chorale rendering “Carol of the Bells”, Ryan Cayabyab’s "Munting Sanggol" and George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah” (Hallelujah Chorus).
And as if that's not enough, early Mass attendees are to be serenaded by, not one, but four choral groups: The Coro Regina Coeli, the Erehwon Chorale with the University of Manila Singing Ambassadors, the Manila City Chorale and the Emilio Aguinaldo College Chorale.
Moreover, attendees should be ready for a live performance of "Panunuluyan" to be staged by the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group, as well as the special participation of Tanghalang Pilipino Actors' Company.
According to the CPP's announcement on FB, tickets will be distributed Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. at the CCP Little Theater Lobby.
The event is free to the public, but it will be a "first come, first serve" engagement.
