"If I tried to assess my performance, let's say I put myself three years ago and I joined then, I don't think I would've excelled and get here today. All of those parts of my career helped me become this Michelle," the Kapuso talent said.

According to Michelle, being an actress helped her become accepting of all the criticisms thrown at her, while being a model helped her project herself.

She said, "I feel like the biggest transformation is...the way I carry myself. I'm more regal now. Because of the pageant training I'm more polished, I'm better at public speaking, I hope."

Asked what her game plan will be once she starts her international competition, Michelle said that she will just really do her best.

"I have been training for months for all of the categories for Miss World so all that I can really do is, do my best and be myself and be genuine," the beauty queen added.

Michelle is set to fly off to London this coming November 19. She revealed that she'll be wearing an evening gown inspired by the pearl of the orient sea while her national costume is inspired by our national symbols. Both of her dresses will be designed by Francis Libiran.

The Miss World 2019 will be telecast live via satellite on GMA 7 on December 14 at 10pm. — LA/GMA News
