Miss Int'l PHL bet Patch Magtanong wows audiences with Tausug-inspired national costume

Patricia Magtanong is set to represent her country the finest way possible!

During Miss International's coronation night in Japan on Tuesday, the Filipino beauty queen wore a Tausug-inspired national costume designed by Amir Sali.

In an Instagram post, Patch shared so much thought and detail was put in her costume to properly represent the Tausug community in Mindanao.

The costume also aimed to demonstrate the "different uses of the Malong, from a skirt, to a blanket, or even to wrap or swaddle a newborn baby."
