On Instagram, the beauty queen-slash lawyer, has been generous in updating her supporters about her goings-on from the swimsuit competition to the preliminaries, and of course the national costume.
According to Patch, her national costume is a tribute to Mindanao's Tausug people. Designed by Amir Sali, it demonstrates the versatility of the malong. "From a skirt, to a blanket, or even to wrap or swaddle a newborn baby. So much thought, detail and love was put into this costume and I was so proud to wear it," Patch exclaimed.
