Bb. Pilipinas Globe Leren Bautista stuns as a Maranaoan princess for her national costume

Bb. Pilipinas Globe Leren Mae Bautista’s national costume — a Maranaoan Princess — in the ongoing Miss Globe beauty pageant is simply stunning.

Created by fashion designer Chico Estiva, Leren’s national costume boasts of incredible detail. “In opulent hues of red, gold, emerald and purple, hundreds and thousands of brass coiled ornaments sewn to form fringes that mimic the sway of grass,” the designer wrote of his creation on Instagram.

Leren’s national costume comes complete with a headdress “inspired by the mosques of Mindanao.”

The Miss Globe 2019 is underway in Monaco. The coronation night will be on October 22. — LA, GMA News
