But according to Nelson Canlas’ report on 24 Oras Saturday, the beauty queen withdrew her tiara from the auction, citing ‘personal reasons.’

Handcrafted by Tokyo-based Japanese jeweler Mikimoto, the tiara has an elegant design of Mikimoto pearls encrusted in the gold crown. It has a starting bid of P60,000.

The proceeds of the crown were supposed to be given to the 22 fishermen whose boat was sunk by Chinese nationals.
