Papemelroti co-founder Bienvenido Alejandro has passed away

The co-founder of Papemelroti, Bienvenido Alejandro, has passed away Wednesday, May 15. He was 92 years old.

The popular stationery shop announced the unfortunate news on Instagram in a very Papemelroti manner, for which it's loved: positive, buoyant, and full of love.

"Daddy, I will miss you terribly! You were always my champion when I needed one. You took care of us in many practical ways that we sometimes took for granted. But you were also a dreamer, always young at heart, always enthusiastic and bursting with plans and ideas and projects," read a portion of the message his daughter Patricia Alejandro Paterno wrote on Facebook.
 

"You were a faithful, loving husband, a wonderful father, and a fun lolo! We rejoice in the hope that we will all be together one day!" She ended her note.

Mr. Alejandro was born on August 18, 1926.

His wake will be at Loyola Commonwealth starting Wednesday night.
