Kylie Verzosa will bring life to Filipina superhero 'Osyana' in a film


Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa will bring life to Epik Studios'  first comic book Filipina superhero Osyana.

Kylie shared the news on Instagram after it was revealed in History Con 2018 on Sunday.

The beauty queen shared a photo of herself in the Osyana costume, and in the caption she expressed how thrilled she was to play the role.

"I’m so excited to announce i’ll be playing Osyana! @epikstudiosph’s first comic book Filipina superhero. Out in cinemas this 2019/2020."

 

 

On Instagram, Epik Studios revealed that the fearless Sea Siren character "Osyana" was straight from the Filipino folkores of the Badjaos.

The story was written by an award winning author Charles Santino, the art was illustrated by Art Jim Jimenez and colors by Randy Monces, the team behind the art layout and letterings were created by Dannie Santos and 3D logos and renders was done by VJ Jehtro Mata.
