Free entrance to the Metropolitan Museum of Manila on Saturday
On Saturday, December 16, the Metropolitan Museum of Manila will be waiving its P100-door charge for a full day of open house. Yay!
Guests can explore the urban landscape and built heritage of Manila through a guided walkthrough of the architectural exhibitions at the MET at 2pm.
On view until December 29 are the 'Framing the Spectacle of Space', an exhibition on the creative life and works of Juan Arellano as architect and painter and 'MUHON: Traces of an Adolescent City', a homecoming exhibition of the Philippine pavilion at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale.
Finally, the UP Manila Chorale will be performing Christmas Carols at 3:30pm.
More good news: The METLab pop-up shop will hold a sale on Saturday of up to 50 percent off on MET publications and merchandise.
