Paulina Sotto-Llanes holds third solo art exhibit
The stars were out for Paulina Luz Sotto-Llanes on Tuesday night for the opening of her third solo exhibit, held at the 12th floor of the Clipp Center in BGC.
Present to support Paulina were her father Vic and her sister Danica, both of whom were accompanied by their spouses, Pauleen Luna and Marc Pingris.
The exhibit focused on Paulina's abstract paintings, some of which were created in collaboration with her grandfather, National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz.
Paulina lived with her grandfather most of her life, but according to the profile on her website, it was only in 2015 that she became interested in abstract art.
Since then she has been dedicated visual artist. She held her first exhibit at The Crucible gallery in Megamall in February 2016 and the second at Swatch & Swatch Center in November 2016.
Her paintings are focused on one thing "the beauty in simplicity." — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas / AT, GMA News
