Mel Gibson, John Lithgow join the fun in ‘Daddy's Home 2’ trailer

Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell are back in "Daddy's Home 2", a follow up to the 2015 film that Cannes Best Director winner Sofia Coppola lists as one of her favorites.

The first film exploited the tension between a "hyper-alpha" absentee father Dusty who tries to win his family back from sweet, kind, and thoughtful stepdad Brad.

The sequel sees an improved relationship between Wahlberg's Dusty and Ferrell's Brad, but their new bond is put to the test when their fathers — Mel Gibson and John Lithgow — join the family for a holiday.

Also joining the cast is John Cena. Returning to direct is Sean Anders.
