‘Justice League’ concept art, footage revealed at CinemaCon
After revealing the very first trailer for “Justice League” last weekend, fan expectations and excitement were high for Warner Bros. and DC Films’ upcoming superhero team adventure, which will unite the heroes of the DC Universe for the first time on the big screen.
The Zack Snyder-directed film will pick up right after the events of last year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, as Batman and Wonder Woman gather together a team of powerful metahumans in order to protect the Earth from an oncoming threat.
At this year’s CinemaCon event, Warner Bros. promoted many of their upcoming new films including “Justice League,” revealing new information, concept art, and an expanded version of their recently released trailer. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the additional footage features Jeremy Irons back as Alfred Pennyworth and some banter between the Leaguers.
At one point, said the report, “Batman and Barry Allen/The Flash are standing on a roof (out of costume) and they see the Batsignal in the sky.
“'Oh awesome. It’s the Batsignal! That’s your signal,' Barry tells Bruce, before apologizing for speaking too loudly about it. 'That means we have to go now. That’s so cool.'”
Following the sizzle reel, Snyder also tweeted a photo of the cast of Justice League minus Gal Gadot, who was absent from the show due to recently giving birth.
