Maxine Medina’s emerald green evening gown

Maxine Medina on Thursday debuted her Rhett Eala evening gown during the rehearsals for the preliminary competition. Eala shared a glimpse of the gown himself on Instagram, showing of the movement of the fringes of the vibrant emerald dress.

Philippine Pageantry shared a photo of the gown, which revealed the layered shapes and sequined details.

In a previous interview with GMA News Online, Eala said he was going for "sexy and elegant" for the evening gown.

"Maxine's concern is she wants to show off her figure, so I'm not going to do anything not flattering for her figure," he said.

Eala also designed Medina's national costume.

The preliminary competition will happen later this Thursday and the Top 12 finalists will be picked by a panel of judges led by Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres and Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori.
