Drew Barrymore wears Pinay designer Monique Lhuillier at Golden Globes

Hollywood star Drew Barrymore took the spotlight on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet on Sunday night wearing a dress from the Spring 2017 collection of renowned Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier.

“Flawless. Perfection” was how Lhuillier described the actress.

Aside from Barrymore, “Fit For Fashion” host Louise Roe also wore a Lhuillier gown.

Lhuillier celebrated the 20th anniversary of her label last September with the launch of her Spring 2017 collection at the New York Fashion Week — a parade of dreamy pastels and delicate fabrics that have made her a favorite among both brides and Hollywood celebrities.

Aside from Barrymore and Roe, the Filipino designer has also dressed several Hollywood stars and models, including Victoria's Secret angel Romee Stridj, actresses Camilla Belle, Zendaya, Sarah Hyland, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Scarlett Johansson, Kristen Stewart, and Reese Witherspoon, and singers Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. —Bianca Rose Dabu/JST, GMA News
