In celebration of freedom, National Museum extends free admission throughout June
In commemoration of two historically significant occasions, Independence Day (June 12) and the birth anniversary of celebrated hero Jose Rizal (June 19), the National Museum of the Philippines extends its free admission throughout the month of June.
Those who choose to avail the offer and visit the museum can enjoy the newly opened National Living Treasures exhibition at the National Museum of Anthropology.
On June 8, the National Museum of Fine Arts marks the 85th birth anniversary of National artist Jose Joya with "Remembering Joya"—which the public can also enjoy for free.
The National Museum also waived its admission fees throughout May in celebration of Heritage Month.
The National Museum is on P. Burgos Drive, Rizal Park, Manila. Its regional sites are in Vigan, Kiangan, Kabayan, Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs, Tabaco, Bohol, and Butuan.
