Pia Wurtzbach says she will influence youth, raise awareness to relevant causes

If she is named Miss Universe 2015, Bb. Pilipinas Universe Pia Wurtzbach said she will use her voice to influence the youth and raise awareness to causes that are relevant.

Pia said this when she was asked, "Why should you be the next Miss Universe?" in the pageant being held in Las Vegas on Monday morning (Philippine time).

"To be a Miss Universe is both an honor and a responsibility," Pia said.

"I want to show the world, the universe rather, that I am confidently beautiful with a heart," Pia said, to the cheers of the live audience.

Earlier, Pia said it has been a long time since the Philippines had a Miss Universe, and it would be a great Christmas gift to her countrymen if she won this year's crown.

This year's winner will be crowned by Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega of Colombia.
