Free admission to Metropolitan Museum of Manila on Monday, Intl Museum Day




The Metropolitan Museum of Manila will celebrate International Museum Day on Monday, May 18, by opening its doors to visitors for free.

Among the MET's permanent exhibitions are displays of goldwork and pottery from the 8th to 13th centuries; religious art; and the works of Felix Resurreccion HIdalgo.

The museum will also reactivate its METLab to offer fun activities for its visitors, as well as hold a museum Art Hunt.

There will also be a free tour of contemporary art beginning at 11 a.m. — BM, GMA News

The Metropolitan Museum of Manila (708-7828) at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Complex, Roxas Blvd., Manila, is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
