Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ is top streamed Halloween 2014 song

Having trouble getting into the Halloween spirit? A little mood music might help. But what if you can't call to mind any spooktacular songs?

 

Michael Jackson's “Thriller” and “Monster Mash” by Bobby “Boris” Pickett and The Crypt Kickers are the most Halloween playlist-able songs, according to music streaming service Spotify.

 

Spotify analyzed over 600,000 Halloween-themed playlists in order to come to this conclusion.

 

“Halloween continues to grow in popularity and Spotify predicts that this Halloween is set to be one of the biggest ever with themed playlists growing by 117% globally year on year,” according to the press release.

 

Spotify Philippines also has a Spooktacular Playlist for those whose Halloween parties are in a few hours and have no time to cobble one together.
