Bretman Rock claps back at Pinoy gym coach who insinuated that gays can't lift in the gym

Bretman Rock has hit back at a Filipino gym coach who associated not being able to lift weights in the gym with being gay.

On TikTok, Edison Vargas, a gym coach who shares workout videos online, uploaded a clip of himself lifting weights in the gym. In the caption on screen, he wrote, “Bakla ako ‘pag hindi ko nabuhat ‘to.”

In the comments section, Bretman reacted to the video and said, “Lmfao, girl, at least put your elbows closer together.”

“All that for such a lightweight sis,” he added.

As of writing, Edison has turned off the comments section in the viral video.

He also released a statement earlier this day, saying that he didn’t intend to hurt anyone’s feelings and that he only copied his caption from other TikTok creators.

“Pinag isipan ko naman po muna bago ipost yung video,” Edison wrote. “Ilan lang ang original content ko kaya may pinag gayahan lang ako dito.”

“Wala din naman ako nakitang dahilan para hindi ipost kasi wala naman negative comments doon sa mga pinag gayahan ko,” he added.

Bretman has been flexing his toned body in recent years, all thanks to his gym workouts and balanced diet.

In 2022, he shared a video of himself wearing a skirt while successfully finishing his deadlift reps.
