Liza Soberano gets featured on popular TikTok channel while driving luxury car
Liza Soberano is the coolest as she gets featured on a popular TikToker's channel.
While driving a BMW I8 — a sportscar priced at $150,000 or approximately P8.5 million — the Filipino-American actress was stopped by TikToker Daniel Mac, known for his content featuring drivers of luxury cars and asking what they do for a living.
“I’m an actress," Liza said, when asked.
Daniel asked Liza if she appears in movies.
She said, “Yeah, but a lot of my work’s in the Philippines so you probably don’t recognize me.”
Daniel then recognized Liza and remembered that his followers had been telling him to do a video with a Manila-based actress.“Are you Liza? Oh gosh, okay!” he asked. “Do you have any life advice for people trying to get into, like, acting?”
Liza answered, “Just be true to yourself and take risks.”
Before she drove off, the content creator said, “So nice to meet you. I’m going to Manila in a little, so you have to tell me tips on where to go. Shout out, Philippines, let’s go.”
Daniel currently has 14.3 million followers on TikTok. His video with Liza now has 2 million views and 200,000 likes.
“Casually meeting the largest Filipino actress,” he said in his caption.
Liza made her Hollywood film debut in “Lisa Frankenstein,” where she played Taffy, the stepsister of Lisa (Kathryn Newton).
Her performance got rave reviews from fans and critics alike. American filmmaker Jo Russo and Liza’s boyfriend Enrique Gil were among those who were impressed.
Following her success with the film, Liza was also able to attend the SAG Awards, Vanity Fair’s Vanities: A Night For Young Hollywood event, and was a presenter at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Japan.
