American bride faints after saying 'I do'

A couple's vows were tested shortly after they tied the knot, when the bride fainted during their big day.

According to a report on "SAKSI" on Friday, Catherine Franks, 28, was not able to handle the heat and collapsed after saying "I do."

Catherine shared her story on a now viral TikTok video. She said that the next thing she knew was that she was being taken care of by her husband Alex and their entourage.

She said that she spent an hour standing under the church lights, and it was nearly 39 degrees Celsius on the day they got married. The ceremony was held in Louisiana.

All's well that ends well, because the incident has become a running joke in their family, and Catherine said it's a funny joke to tell to her baby — because she's actually pregnant!

The day after the wedding, she went to the hospital to get a check-up and ensure her and her baby's health.
