Justin Timberlake takes a jab at iconic meme 'It's Gonna Be Me'

We will never forget how Justin Timberlake pronounced "Me" in the popular early 2000s song "It's Gonna Be Me" by *NSYNC.

On TikTok, the "Mirrors" hitmaker stitched a video of him answering "me" to the question, "What's a word you pronounced incorrectly one time, and it still hunts you to this day?"

In the comment section, netizens poked fun at his line on the song, with some saying that Justin pronouncing "me" as "may" made the *NSYNC song iconic even up to this day.

It has become a popular internet meme that resurfaces annually, specifically in anticipation of the month of May. It's gonna be May, get it?

As of writing, the video has amassed a whopping 22.4 million views in one day.

Last week, Justin announced that *NSYNC will release a brand-new song after two decades.

"When the stars align," he wrote. "Got my brothers back together in the studio to work on something fun and the energy was special."

The new song is titled "Better Place" and is set to drop on September 29.
*NSYNC recently had a surprise reunion at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2023.

*NSYNC, composed of Justin, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick, is known for hits such as "Bye Bye Bye," "This I Promise You," and "I Want You Back."
