Miss Universe's Anne Jakrajutatip reveals she apologized to Catriona Gray in 2022 viral video
Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip revealed what she told Catriona Gray in the viral video of them interacting during a Miss Universe event in Bangkok, Thailand last year.
On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Thai billionaire said it was her first time meeting Catriona in 2022, and she took the opportunity to sincerely talk to her about their past issue.
"I just want it to get it out [of] my chest. Right now, clear, off the air," she said.
When Boy Abunda asked what exactly did she tell Catriona, Anne revealed she welcomed Catriona in Thailand and, at the same time, cleared off the air between them.
"I do apologize [for] whatever happened in the past, but I'm so glad you're here in Thailand. Welcome to the family of JKN and Miss Universe Organization. I love you, my dear, from the bottom of my heart," Anne recalled telling Catriona.
"I just need to do it. From now on, we have to work together, so just put the past [away] and don't talk [or] mention it again," she added.
In the Fast Talk segment of the show, Anne also said that Catriona is her favorite beauty queen.
In 2019, Anne was rumored to be in a relationship with Catriona's ex-boyfriend, Clint Bondad. But in an earlier report, she clarified that Clint is just "like a little brother" to her.
Anne arrived in Manila on Monday to attend the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night on Saturday, which will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
