Pinoy Henyo contestants apologize for alleged cheating incident, explain actions

The Pinoy Henyo contestants who were accused of cheating online have apologized to the public but said that they did not intend to cheat.

In an episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," Ryan and Lyka explained their actions during the Valentine's Day edition of Pinoy Henyo in "Eat Bulaga!"

Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Lyka seemingly mouthed "stomach," the word that Ryan needs to guess, when they played the game.

Her boyfriend, Ryan, also explained what he had done in the jackpot round, when he also seemingly mouthed the word "Abra."

Lyka also apologized to the hosts and management of "Eat Bulaga!" and said they were waiting for the program to reach out if they will be asked to explain their side.

"Eat Bulaga" hosts have not addressed the issue directly but shared their thoughts on cheating following the incident.

fun," said Joey De Leon.

Ryan said they will take accountability for their actions.

Some netizens have said that the couple must return the P30,000 they won from the game.

Ryan and Lyka said they have also been receiving a lot of hate on social media due to the incident.

They also sent their message to the management of "Eat Bulaga."

The couple, however, said they learned their lesson from what happened.
