Well, the reason why it’s trending is actually because of a song by Conan Gray!

“Heather” became popular after its release in 2020, because it's one of those songs that will make you cry. Conan sings about falling in love with someone who is in love with Heather.

“I still remember the third of December, me in your sweater," the opening line goes. "You said it looked better on me than it did you.”

The singer-songwriter expresses jealousy and frustration, but also wants to be her. “Wish I were Heather,” he sings.
