Rick Astley recreates the ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ music video 35 years later

Check this out: Rick Astley recreated the music video for his iconic dance-pop single which was first released in 1987.

Rick performed in outfits and backgrounds similar to the original video, like in the church hall, in front of window projections, and in front of a wire fence.

The English singer-songwriter did the video for the US-based company AAA Insurance, which promises that its services are “never gonna let you down.” His female backup dancers are replaced with insurance agents wearing their uniforms.

“Never Gonna Give You Up” is Rick’s debut single from his first album “Whenever You Need Somebody.” It’s a worldwide hit that people of all ages still talk about and listen to today. The music video has 1.2 billion views on YouTube.
