This Jericho Rosales look-alike turns his life around after going viral!

After being mistaken for Jericho Rosales, Junrey Baug of Monkayo, Davao De Oro found himself in a series of lucky breaks.

In the latest episode of "Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho," Junrey shared how one trending post about him opened a pool of opportunities that he didn't expect.

At a local amusement park, Junrey, who works as a construction worker and rubber farmer, was mistaken for Jericho Rosales by a dude named Boyet Perez. So excited was Boyet that he went to up Junrey and asked for a group photo.

Alas, it wasn't the matinee idol he thought Junrey was but they took a photo with him anyway — and uploaded it on social media, where it quickly turned viral. 

Photographer and vlogger John Denver Formilleza saw the viral photo of Junrey and thought to give him a quick makeover for a photoshoot.

That photoshoot once again turned viral.

Soon, not only was Junrey referred to as "Echo ng Monkayo," he also landed an endorsement deal!

“Hindi na talaga siya kagaya ng dati,” Junrey said about how his life has changed.

According to Echo's look-alike, he used to live a quiet, normal life in Davao. But thanks to his unexpected exposure, opportunity — not to mention expressions of admiration — now come aplenty. 

"Maraming lumalapit, magpa-picture, daw," he added, smiling shyly because as it turns out, Junrey is already married.

“Hindi ko alam yung nararamdaman ko, nasisiyahan at nabigla sa daming pagbabago,” Junrey said.
