‘Lolong’ crocodile mascot flaunts abs; Ruru Madrid says more surprises lined up

The mascot featuring the crocodile Dakila on “Lolong” recently went viral as it went around Edsa and amused passersby.

As seen on “24 Oras” Monday, a man with a crocodile mascot head and washboard abs was seen posing for photos and dancing with delighted commuters in Quezon City and Parañaque City.

According to the report, the promo was part of the show’s efforts to show its gratitude to the viewers.

Ruru Madrid, the actor who plays the title character “Lolong,” said more surprises were lined up for the show’s viewers.

“Halos bawat linggo, may bagong naiisip po ang Team Lolong para pasayahin po ang mga tao. Kaya naman po, abangan niyo pa po ang ilang mga pasabog na inihanda po ng Team Lolong para po sa inyong lahat. Kasabay po niyan ang mga maiinit na eksena gabi-gabi sa Lolong,” he said.
