Nun uses TikTok to encourage youth to explore sisterhood

A nun has been making entertaining videos on TikTok to encourage the youth to explore the religious vocation.

According to a “24 Oras” report Tuesday, Sr. Marlyn Mambusao is versatile with her TikTok entries. She can dance, play the guitar, sing, dub, and act.

“Marami po akong natatanggap na messages. Hindi lang po sa pagmamadre, [may] mga nag-aask (din) ng advice spiritually. Do’n ko po napagtanto na talagang effective yung ginagawa ko,” she said.

Sr. Marlyn said she hoped young women would be interested in a life inside a convent. She added that only few women had been entering the sisterhood since the pandemic began.
