Armless artist uses feet to create fantastic drawings

This man from San Pedro, Laguna, has been using not his hands but his feet to create fantastic artworks.

According to Oscar Oida’s “24 Oras” report Wednesday, Bermin Villasor Rigor had created countless drawings since he was 8 despite being born without arms.

The “paa-rtist” said his mother had goiter when she was pregnant with him, which may have caused his condition.

Growing up, Bermin did not let his condition hinder him and instead he further honed his drawing skills.

However, it was only during the pandemic when he started making a living using his talent.

“Sinimulan ko po iyon sa TikTok. Naghanap ako ng mga gustong magpagawa. Marami naman pong nagrequest,” he said. “Kalaunan meron nang mga nagpapa-commission.”

Bermin charges between PHP800-PHP2,000 per artwork, depending on the size and the complexity of the design.

“Nakakatulong na po ako sa tatay ko at sa mga kapatid ko, na dati po sila lang iyong naaasahan dito sa pamilya namin,” he said.

“Mahirap lang kami, siyempre po. Gusto ko makaahon sa kahirapan kaya nagsumikap ako.” – RC, GMA News
