Hundreds of ducks cause traffic in Tarlac City

Jhay Laurzano couldn’t believe his eyes when he found out why he was being asked to drive slowly in Tarlac City on Monday.

According to #KuyaKimAnoNa on “24 Oras” Friday, Jhay was left with no choice but to whip out his phone and take videos as hundreds of dark-colored ducks suddenly filled the street.

With their little feet, the ducks formed a line and walked in sync quickly, as if guided by an unseen leader.

“Ang dami talaga sir. Nabigla kasi first time ko makakita ng ganoon karaming itik,” said Jhay.

“Wala na pong makain sa kabilang barangay,” said Rey Hipolito, a caretaker from the duck farm which was located in another barangay.

To ease the traffic, Rey said the tricycle drivers in the area helped him manage the flow of vehicles.

The caretaker eventually herded back the runaway ducks to their farm. – RC, GMA News
