Student pranks mom with 'suspension letter' to inform her of his academic award
How would you tell your parents that you received an academic award?
One student took the opportunity to prank his mom in a hilarious video that has gone viral on social media.
As seen on a "24 Oras" report, Sunday, Allane Maverick Barles put on a superb acting performance when he handed his mom a "suspension letter" from his university.
"Nung exam s'yempre desperado akong pumasa eh [During the exam I was desparate to pass]," he said. "Nagdala ako ng parang kodigo [I bought a cheat sheet]."
His mom bought it right away.
"Patay ka," she said, and then facepalmed.
When she comforted him with a hug and told him not to do it again, Allane grinned cheekily at the camera, knowing that he had her.
His mom then opened the "letter" and was surprised to read that he was second honor. He laughed out loud as she groaned and wiped her eyes but he was also quick to embrace her.
Acting skills on point, Allane!
