'Money Heist 5' trends on Twitter shortly after last volume hits Netflix

Are we ready to sing "Bella Ciao" for the very last time?

Money Heist has taken the internet by storm shortly after its last volume premiered on Netflix.

On Friday, Netflix released "Money Heist Part 5: Volume 2," putting an end to the hit Spanish series that has captivated the world, since it premiered on the streaming platform.

The hashtag "Money Heist 5" trended online all through Friday as netizens expressed both their joy and sadness in watching the last few episodes of the series.

Some netizens have tweeted about volume 2's intensity, while others shared their excitement at the turn of events.

"Eto naaa," a Twitter user said, while another excited said, "let's see how it ends. Let's go!!"

"Intense," someone else quipped along with fire emojis, while another couldn't help her French and said "potang*na I'm having goosebumps!!!! i love this series sm."

"Money Heist" has left fans at the edge of their seats after witnessing Tokyo's death in the first part of the series finale.

In five seasons, it followed a group of red jumpsuit-clad thieves who pull off heist after heist led by the Professor. And though "Money Heist" has come to an end, its creators announced earlier this week that Berlin will have a spin-off series coming to Netflix in 2023. Thank heavens we're given something to look forward to! — LA, GMA News
