Are these posters inspired by GMA Network’s Bea Alonzo teaser?

It looks like many brands and companies have been inspired by GMA Network’s teaser for Bea Alonzo’s arrival.

Ahead of her contract signing last week, the network’s social media pages shared a photo of the award-winning actress covered in black, except on the upper right corner which showed only her left eye and ear.

“One of the biggest artists in Philippine showbiz will BE A Kapuso,” said the caption.

The viral teaser seems to have inspired other brands and companies to use the same design concept for their respective announcements.

One of these is Bank of the Philippine Islands, which shared a photo of its chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala using the same layout, but in red.

“The launch of something exciting is JAZ A few weeks away,” said its caption.

As of writing, the post has garnered over 15,000 reactions and 1,200 comments from amused Facebook users.

Ikea Philippines also used the same tactic to announce its online membership, using its iconic blue color.

“Philippines will be a family,” said its caption, with the words “be a” in boldface.

Another one is Big Bad Wolf Books, which shared a black poster featuring its wolf character on the upper right corner.

“The biggest book sale in the world has a BIG surprise for you soon,” it said on the caption.

Chicken wings joint 24 Chicken, meanwhile, used a similar poster to hint at its new location.

“The Gateway of Eastern Visayas meets 24 Chicken,” the yellow poster read.
