Pageant fan says no to lechon after Rabiya Mateo's Top 21 finish in Miss Universe

Looks like some netizens have taken to heart Rabiya Mateo's early exit from the Miss Universe pageant on Monday.

A viral video on Facebook showed a pageant fan crying while walking towards a whole pig getting ready to be roasted in a fire.

The fan wanted to stop the celebration following Rabiya's Top 21 finish, but the pig was already dead and skewered on a metal rod.

"Who killed the pig? Make it come back to life!" he groaned in Bisaya. "Rabiya lost. There will be no party!"

According to Barbie Gensan, the netizen who took the video, her group of friends just wanted to spread good vibes.

Even though they talked about Rabiya's loss, they said that they are proud of the Ilongga beauty for representing the country.

"Thank you for fighting. You carried the whole Philippines. Even though we fell down today, we will fight and stand up again," they said in Filipino.

"We love you, Rabiya Mateo! You're still the Miss Universe in our hearts!"
