Man using pot holes on QC road for his plants goes viral

The photos of a man planting using pot holes of an unfinished road project in Quezon City has gone viral on social media, according to Vonne Aquino on State of the Nation.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said work on the project suspended due to the pandemic.

The photos were posted by Glenn Infante, who said the move started as a joke.

The project is part of the drainage installation and road construction of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) along West Los Angeles Street in Barangay San Bartolome in Quezon City.

The project started early last year and there were no plans to stop the work but the pandemic hit the country.

Nagkaroon tayo ng pandemic nung March so nag suspend ng hanggang August o June to August. Nag revise po kami ng schedule, aabutin na po ng June 3, 2021," said DPWH QC First Engineering District OIC Construction Chief Engr. Dennis Sandoval.

Work has started along West Berkley street, which is connected to the West Los Angeles Street to avoid flooding in the area during heavy rains.

-- BAP, GMA News
