Police abuse trends in the Philippines after cop kills Tarlac woman, son

Police abuse trended in the Philippines on Monday morning following an incident in Paniqui, Tarlac, where a policeman shot dead a mother and her son during a heated argument.
The tweets were mostly calls to stop police abuse, condemnation of police brutality, and calls for justice to the victims in Tarlac.

This happened after Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca, 46, shot dead Sonya Gregorio, 52, and her son Frank Anthony Gregorio, 25, during an altercation that reportedly stemmed from an issue involving right of way.
Nuezca, who is assigned in Parañaque City, surrendered to authorities in Pangasinan. He has been turned over to Paniqui Police and is facing a double murder case. —KBK, GMA News
