Kids in viral videos complain their names are too long to write

Several kids have complained to their parents about having long names, according to Oscar Oida’s report on “24 Oras” on Friday.

Five-year-old Drayven Thomas Valdez had cried to his parents, asking them to rename him “Boy Valdez” because his name was too long to write.

“Gusto ko na bawasan pangalan ko,” he said in a viral video.

“Gusto ko Boy Valdez. Mas madali na isulat ang Boy tapos Valdez. O madali lang ’yon,” he added.

Drayven said he knew the spelling of his name but writing it was a different story.

His father, Ray Jay, said his son even wanted to go to the city hall just to change his name.

“Gusto pa nga pong magpasama sa city hall para palitan ’yong pangalan niya eh,” Ray Jay said.

Meanwhile, a six-year-old girl had the same problem as Drayven.
