Denise Barbacena's hilarious 'hugot' takes on Christmas songs garner millions of views on TikTok

Denise Barbacena hit millions of views on TikTok for her Christmas jingle cover videos where she tweaked the lyrics of songs into "hugot."

In one of the videos, Denise changed the lyrics of Jose Mari Chan's hit Christmas single "Christmas In Our Hearts."

The "I Can See You" mainstay hilariously sang, "whenever I see girls and boys walang label pero sweet/I remember the time no'ng ako'y pina-kilig/ palaging magka-text and call merong kiss emoji heart/ tinanong ko 'Ano Us?’ bigla kong 'di chinat."

The said video hit 2.1 million views on TikTok.

In a more recent post meanwhile, Denise also did a "hugot" take on Filipino Christmas jingle "Ang Pasko Ay Sumapit" which garnered over 4.7M views.

"Ang pasko ay sumapit/pinagpalit ka sa malapit/ ba't naman kasi kinikilig/ sinabi lang ika'y inibig/ 'Yan tuloy ika'y iniwan/ May tatlo pa palang ka-chat 'yan/ Kaya magmula ngayon/ 'wag kayo feeling jowa diyan!" Denise sang in the video.

On a roll, Denise sang "Himig ng Pasko" putting in her own "sawi twist."

"Ang lamig ng simoy ng hangin, 'wag lambingin kung 'di jojowain. Panaay text ''wag papagutom' biglang sa EX di pa daw siya moved on," the Bubble Gang babe sang in the video.
