Jose Mari Chan memes were all over Twitter ahead of September
On the eve of September, Jose Mari Chan trended on Twitter as Filipino netizens anticipate the coming of the Christmas season.
Thousands of excited Filipino netizens tweeted Jose Mari Chan memes making the iconic singer-songwriter among the trending topics on Twitter Monday afternoon.
In a previous interview, Jose Mari Chan said memes make him feel young.
“I’m flattered, I’m complimented, and I feel rewarded that after 30 years, the song that I wrote ‘Christmas In Our Hearts’ is still loved and sung by people year after year,” he told "24 Oras."
Chan's hit Christmas song "Christmas in Our Hearts" is often played in malls, restaurants, parties, shops, and other public areas during the holiday season — and often beginning September 1.
