The announcement of Chadwick Boseman's untimely death became the most liked tweet ever, Twitter said Sunday.
Retweeting the unfortunate news early Sunday morning (Manila time), Twitter's official account said it was a definitely "a tribute fit for a King." It also used the hashtag #WakandaForever, referencing Boseman's unforgettable role.

Boseman's tweet announcing the actor's death on Saturday morning has more than 6M likes, nearly 3M retweets and more than 150K replies.

It took most everybody by surprise, with his Marvel co-actors, NBA players, Marvel and DC Studios, and even the Obamas taking to social media to express their grief and mourn the actor.
Despite being diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, Boseman continued to work hard and serve inspiration with his movies. He played Black Panther that same year and went on to star in his own blockbuster Marvel film two years later.
Chadwick was supposed to reprise his role as Black Panther in its sequel movie slated for 2022. — LA, GMA News
