Macoy Dubs’ ‘Auntie Julie’ is back!
Our favorite “Auntie Julie” is back!
After taking a break from his famous character, Macoy Dubs came back this weekend with the internet’s beloved pearl-wearing progressive tita.
In a video Macoy shared on Twitter, he played Auntie Julie attending Mass and telling her daughter “Cassandra” to stop texting, all the while offering Php 1,000 and canned goods to the church.
“Kung magbibigay, make sure it’s the best, lalo na ’pag kay Lord,” “Auntie Julie” posted as her Instagram caption.
Love and peace,

“Auntie Julie” took the internet by storm a few weeks ago when Macoy first portrayed the witty tita from Poveda.
In one of her first videos, “Auntie Julie” tried to pair her son “Robert” with “Eduardo” and talked about Grindr, an online dating app for the LGBTQIA community.
After a few weeks, however, Macoy announced that he would cancel Auntie Julie for the meantime due to the backlash he received on the character.
“Cancel the cancel culture, not the ‘good vibes’ culture. Auntie Julie will be back,” he tweeted.
“Magdilig muna ako ng orchids but I’ll be back. Pahinga muna ... Keep safe anak.”
However, it seems like no one can stop Auntie Julie from spreading good vibes.
As of writing, his new “Auntie Julie” video has received over 37,800 likes and 5,000 retweets. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
