Eric Fructuoso on viral tricycle photo: 'Hindi lang iniintindi 'yung post'
After he went viral for posting a photo of himself seated on the driver's side of a parked tricycle on Instagram, Eric Fructuoso clarified what the post was all about.
According to a report on GMA Entertainment, he did not turn to driving a tricycle to earn a living amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Facebook Saturday, Eric said he was simply advising the public not to belittle the jobs of tricycle drivers.

In another post where he joked that he is not working as a tricycle driver in Cavite but in Batangas, Eric answered some comments and questions from his followers and friends.
In a now-deleted comment, the former Gwapings member answered a netizen who asked "Truth salad ba 'yan o picture lang?"
Eric answered, "picture lang to motivate and inspire."
Meanwhile, in another comment, a netizen wrote, "sabi ko na nga ba hindi mo ko mapepeke sa mga post mo boss erick."
Eric clarified that he was misunderstood, but that he wouldn't reject an opportunity to work as a tricycle driver, if he is given the chance to.
Akalain mong p200 ispesyal hanggang Rowbeensons? #utas

Meanwhile, Eric also posted a live video to explain his intention in posting the viral tricycle photos.
“Sa panahon kasi ngayon, hindi puwedeng maarte. Hindi pwedeng kaartehan ang pairalin. Basta ang pagkakakitaan ay ligal, titirahin natin," he said.
“I'm just trying to live by example. Ibig sabihin, maging good example tayo sa ibang tao," he added.
Eric said people shouldn't be ashamed of their jobs, whatever it is, as long as it is legal and is helping them earn a living.
At least kumikita 'di ba?
Ganun lang 'yan," he said.

Always be kind to people," he continued.
