Eric Fructuoso went viral after he shared a photo of himself seated on the driver's side of a parked tricycle on Instagram.
In the caption, he said you should grab the opportunity to earn for a living for your children, as long as it's legal.
"Times like these hindi pwedeng kaartehan ang paiiralin!" Eric began. "Basta ligal na pagkakakitaan para sa mga anak, tirahin lang ng tirahin!"
It has not yet been confirmed, however, if he has really turned to working as a tricycle driver amid the pandemic, or he if simply posted the photo to serve an inspiration to those who have to switch jobs due to the pandemic.
The photo was uploaded five days ago, and as of posting, it's been liked more than 9K times and has more than 500 comments.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, several industries including show business were put on hold to follow strict protocols, and to prevent the spread of the virus.
Eric is popularly known as one of the members of Gwapings, a variety show on GMA Network in the 1990s. He hosted the show alongside Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jomari Yllana, and Jao Mapa.
