'Giant' lightning strike over Manila amazes netizens
Sometimes, accidents can lead to the beautiful things.
A botched long-exposure shot of the Friday night sky amazed netizens because it seemed like a gigantic lightning strike was bearing down on Manila City.
Photographer Jam Viguilla said she attempted a 13-second exposure shot of the stormy sky at 7:38 p.m., but her hands were shaky.
Additionally, more than one lightning strike appeared at almost the same place after she pressed the shutter button.
Jam shared that since she picked up photography as a hobby, she's been wanting to capture the lightning.
"Ngayon lang ako nagkachance. So I took it. Luckily after five minutes of waiting para mashoot, natyempuhan ko," she said.
PAGASA had warned on Friday that moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds were to be expected in Metro Manila that night. —JCB, GMA News
