Ex-porn star Mia Khalifa auctions off infamous glasses to aid victims of Lebanon blast
Former porn star Mia Khalifa is auctioning off her "infamous" glasses to raise funds for the victims of the deadly explosion that rocked Beirut, Lebanon.
The 27-year-old American-Lebanese sports commentator had worn said glasses in her old pornographic films.
On eBay, the current bid stands at $100,000, with 189 people having placed their bids.
Khalifa said the proceeds will "100% benefit the [Lebanese Red Cross]."
"Head to the link in my bio and let’s try to make a positive difference," she said.
Prior to this, Khalifa had also auctioned other personal items, like a her used loofa and used razor blade.
"F*ck it, there are no rules anymore. $100k and I’ll throw in my retainer. Anything for my country?" she wrote on Instagram.
The explosion at a port warehouse in Beirut had killed at least 163 people, injured more than 6,000 and destroyed swathes of the Mediterranean capital, compounding months of political and economic meltdown.
Following this, Lebanon's government resigned, with the prime minister saying a huge explosion that devastated the capital and stirred public outrage was the result of endemic corruption.
