Sandara Park trends on Twitter after she spoke in Tagalog in a Korean show
Sandara Park trended on Philippine Twitter after she suddenly spoke Tagalog in a Korean show.
In videos shared by netizens on Twitter, Sandara was doing a short impromptu skit with Korean actress Choi Su-rin, when she started to run out of words in Korean. She turned to speaking in Tagalog sentences instead.
"Ano po sinasabi niyo? Hindi ko kayo maintindihan, galing po ako sa Pilipinas," Sandara told Su-rin, who of course was puzzled.
The Koreans in the show were also surprised, as they couldn't understand what Sandara was saying.
Filipino netizens of course couldn't get enough of it. Sharing clips of such a cute TV moment, Dara went viral on Twitter as netizens commended her love for the Philippines. As of this writing, there are nearly 45,000 tweets on her.
Check out a few below:
I don't know what's going on here but this is so funny. I'm familiar w/ this show since Sunny was a previous host & Dara replaced her spot when she left.

There seems to be a lot going on for the former 2NE1 member. Recently, she teased a new release coming in August.
According to Korean entertainment website Soompi, Sandara recently made her debut as a musical actress in a production based on the popular drama “Another Oh Hae-young.”
Sandara was born in South Korea but her family moved to the Philippines when she was young. She spent her teenage years in the Philippines, rising to popularity as an actress after winning runner-up in a talent search show in 2004.
She returned to South Korea in 2007 and in 2009, Sandara debuted as one of the members of the K-pop group 2NE1.
