It seems that for all the show's crazy twists and turns, this is the part that surprised many.
"Japan Sinks: 2020" follows the Mutoh family as they attempt to escape Tokyo after a major earthquake strikes Japan.
The story is based on the best-selling novel written by Sakyo Komatsu in 1973.
It is currently streaming on Netflix.
